ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for the India SME 100 ranking, an enterprise must meet the following criteria:
- The enterprise must be engaged in an economic activity and have a legal form, i.e., it should be registered as a business with an Udyam Registration Number (UAM), or registered with the local SSI/MSME directorate, or with a free trade/industrial zone/export zone in India.
- The enterprise must be a for-profit business.
- The enterprise must have been in existence in India for a minimum of 3 years at the time of application.
- The enterprise must disclose audited financial statements for the past 2 years for the purpose of screening and follow-up applications.
- Once shortlisted for evaluation, the enterprise must participate in the processes of discussions, interviews, site visits, etc.
- The enterprise must furnish supporting details as and when required.
