Prahlad Kakar founded Genesis Film
Production Pvt. Ltd. in 1977 and virtually re
invented regional television advertising, after
having assisted Shyam Benegal, one of India’s
most renowned filmmakers. “To tell a story in 30 seconds in the
most engaging way possible” remains Prahlad’s raison d’etre for
remaining passionate about ad filmmaking even 30 years later.
Genesis, as is common knowledge in the business, continues to

Dr. Anup K Pujari, IAS
superannuated as Secretary, Government of India, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise, where he was involved in policy making at the highest level, in end of January 2016.
He is a 1980 batch officer of Karnataka cadre. He has served as the Secretary in the Ministry of Mines and held additional charge of Secretary, Ministry of Steel & CMD, Steel Authority of India Ltd. (SAIL). Dr. Pujari with his sound knowledge of economics has expertly handled Foreign Trade as the Director General of Foreign Trade, for which generalist IAS officers usually bank on trade service officers blindly.
Dr. Pujari has the experience of public sector management in the State of Karnataka for several years. His notable postings include Principal Secretary, IT & Biotechnology; Managing Director, Karnataka Food & Civil Supplies Corporation; Registrar, Bangalore University; Addl. Commissioner, Commercial Tax; Addl. Secretary, Finance; Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kanada District & Shimoga District.
Dr. Pujari has done Ph.D in Economics from Boston University and holds a post graduate degree in Economics from Delhi School of Economics.

Professor to the University of Rhode Island, USA and IIT, New
Delhi. Dr Juneja has written extensively and recently authored
‘SMEs in Asian Region- Harnessing the Growth Potential’ and
‘Policy Guidebook for SME Development in Asia and the Pacific’
edited and published by United Nation ESCAP.

Mr. Bajalia is an Economics graduate with ICWA
and Certified Associate of Indian Institute of
Bankers. He started his career in a commercial bank in 1974 and moved to IDBI in 1983. During his 30 years stay in IDBI he handled varied portfolios viz. Corporate
& Retail finance, Recovery & NPA Management, Restructuring, Human Resource Management, etc. He set up Recovery Vertical and SME Vertical in IDBI. In Corporate Banking he handled Infra projects, Paper, Textile, Engineering, Mining Industry. He headed the Branch Office at Jaipur & Largest Branch of IDBI Mumbai.
He headed HRD function of IDBI during its transformation into a Commercial Bank portfolio after 2011. Prior to appointment as
DMD in SIDBI, Shri Bajalia was the Executive Director of IDBI Ltd. He retired this year with an overall experience of about 40 years in banking.

Vinod went to lead the development & successful sale of an indigenously developed navigation and geographic information system, based tracking patent and business.

Dr. J.P.Singh, President & Head-SME business at Axis Bank ,earlier a career banker and who has a rich experience in Indian banking sector of approx. 30 years began his career in 1986 with State Bank
of Bikaner & Jaipur as a Probationary Officer and moved to Axis Bank (then UTI Bank Ltd.) in March, 1995 as Manager. From 1995 to 2010, Mr. Singh has worked in Axis Bank branches across various geographies, the last being New Delhi Main Branch as Branch Head Before moving to Central Office in 2012 as Head- Business Banking he was Circle Head of Delhi Circle from 2010 to 2012.

He joined BSE Ltd in December, 1996 as Head – Arbitration
and Business Development. He has developed the derivatives
segment of BSE Ltd and also actively involved in opening of
regional centers across the country. Presently as Head - BSE SME,
responsible for the development of this segment of BSE Ltd. He
very successfully launched the SME Platform on 13th and thus BSE
Ltd became the first Exchange to launch the Platform. Today BSE
Ltd is the market leader in this segment with ninety two percent
market share. Within a year this platform has 63 companies listed
and another 15 companies are to be listed. The success of this
platform has brought a lot of enthusiasm in the market and more
and more companies and market intermediaries are coming
forward to get the companies listed on this platform.
